Competitions 12th National Juried Exhibit: Art of Protest

U.S. National Deadline: September 3, 2017 – The Imago Foundation for the Arts is seeking artworks created in all media that address ideas regarding protest. Content of artwork is open to interpretation of the theme.
Style and materials can range from conventional to cutting-edge, limited only by the artist’s creativity. IFA is not accepting video art or time-based works for this juried exhibit.
Stephen Fisher earned a B.F.A. in painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University (1976) and an M.F.A. in printmaking from Yale University (1981). He currently teaches at Rhode Island College in Providence as a Professor of Art where he specializes in printmaking and drawing, and aspires to the title of “Chief Printmaking Wizard”. Public recognition of Fisher’s efforts include, a regional N.E.A. Fellowship, 3 Rhode Island State Council on the Arts Fellowships and a Graphic Media Achievement Award from American Artist Magazine… see more
First Prize $1000
The entry fee is $50 for up to three (3) images. Each additional image is $10 per image.
