WELCOME TO THE ORIGINAL & WORLD FAMOUS ART CRITIQUE GALLERY!

This site is for artists seriously interested in learning from the critical review of their work, and/or commenting about others exhibited pieces.

The Art Critique Board does not restrict images, nor advocate any form of censorship.

If you find that your image post is deleted it is likely due to one or more of the reasons sited below.

LINKING RESTRICTIONS:

This is not a service designed to direct traffic to your web site but rather a place for serious review of your presented art work. Consequently, links back to your web site is not permitted.

Your post should contain an image for review. If you are interested in starting a dialogue about a particular subject rather than a review of your work, please use the "Community of Arts - Discussions Only" boards.

Posting your art for review on the Art Critique Gallery is very simple, follow the instruction below if you need assistance:

To post your work simply place your websites 'image url' in your Message Box. Example:

http://artcritiquegallery.com /images/artcritique_trans.gif

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT IMAGE LINKING & FREE WEB SITE HOSTS:

Please be aware that there are a few free website hosts that do not allow for image linking. If your linked image does not display, first check to see that you have the right URL and that you have inputted in the correct format. If it is correct and still does not display, then it may be the result of a free website image link ban.

Also, be aware that sometimes the image may actually show up when in fact it is not present due to you accessing the cache on your computer. Simply reload your browser (or clear your cache) a second time to verify it's presence.

REASONS FOR DELETION:

The Art Critique Board does not restrict images, nor advocates any form of censorship.

If you find that your post is deleted it is likely do to one or more of the following reasons:

1) Your image does not appear to the public.

2) Your image does not appear but shows only as a link back to your site, and/or you are simply directing people to your website.

3) The image you thought was present (because it is accessing your computers cache), was not visible to the public thus your post was deleted.

4) The intent of your post is not for critique of your own work but to advertise other websites or services.

5) Your simply started a topic for dialogue rather than post an image for review. In this instance please use the "Community of Arts - Discussions Only" boards.

6) Some of your posts were deleted due to excessive posting (see guidelines above), and/or it becomes apparent that you are answering your own posts under different aliases.
