and the other artists by posting no more than 2 new pieces for review at a
time (per individual category). You can always include additional images for
critique within the same post. Additional and new posts are always welcome but will result in the oldest post being automatically
deleted.
Linking Restrictions
This is not a service designed to direct
traffic to your web site but rather a place for serious review of your presented
art
work. Consequently, links back to your web site is not permitted.
How to Post Art
Work
Posting your art for review on the Art Critique
Gallery is very simple, follow the instruction below if you need assistance:
- To post your work simply
place
your websites image url in your Message Box by typing
" http://:www.yourdomain.com/imagename ". For example, if you type:
" http://accessarts.net/images/Wadsm.gif " you would see
Wadsm.gif in the Message Box once
posted.
- Also, please
indicate the medium
and size of your work below or above your image, e.g., Acrylic on canvas. 60"x72",
as well as place it in the appropriate Gallery. In both instances you
will find that you will receive a better response from viewers.
- Always
"Preview" your post prior to clicking "Post Message"
to verify that your image is present.
Important note about image linking and website
hosts: Please be aware that there are a few free website
hosts that do not allow for image linking. If your linked image does not
display, first check to see that you have the right URL and that you have
inputted in the correct format. If it is correct and still does not
display, then it may be the result of a free website image link ban.
To avoid website image linking bans and/or you
simply do not have a website and require hosting of images, please review our
solution by VisualVia.Com.
The Art
Critique Board does not advocate any form of censorship.
If you find that your image post is deleted it is likely due to one or more of
the reasons cited below:
Reasons for Deletion:
The Art Critique Board does not restrict images, nor advocate any form of
censorship. If you find that your post is deleted it is likely do to one or
more of the following reasons:
- This is not a service designed to direct
traffic to your web site but rather a place for serious review of your presented
art
work. Consequently, links back to your web site is not permitted.
Only 2 posts will be maintained at a time
(within each category),
older posts will be deleted when newer one's are added.
For readability sake, title headings that are
ALL CAPS will result in the post being deleted.
Engaging in dialogue with yourself, and/or answering your own posts under an alias,
may will result in
deletion of your exhibit and exclusion from future use without notice.
Continued argumentative and/or insulting
dialogues (as well as undue profanity) between a poster and reader that
impacts the free flow of dialogue and hinders the spirit of productive
critique, will result in deletion of the post and possible banning of the
parties involve. Please take your arguments outside.
Some of your posts were deleted due to
excessive posting frequency (see above), and/or it becomes apparent that you
are answering your own posts under different aliases.
Your image does not appear to the public.
Your image does not appear but shows only as
a link back to your site, and/or you are simply directing people to your
website.
The image you thought was present (because
it is accessing your computers cache), was not visible to the public thus
your post was deleted.
The intent of your post is not for critique
of your own work but to advertise other websites or services.
Your simply started a topic for dialogue
rather than post an image for review. In this instance, your post may have
been moved to an appropriate category, such as
"Community of Arts - Discussions Only" boards.
Other activity and/or behavior deemed
detrimental to dialogue and proper functioning of the board, as determined
by the board editor, can result in deletion of critique gallery membership
without notice.
